Logan sat at the table, flipping through a few pages of a World War 2 book. His unlit cigar rests loosely between his fingers. The d**n librarian wouldn’t let him smoke, which was an obviously good reason since there was paper books everywhere, but did he care? Not really. Plus it was a hazard toward the other students. Whatever…
Grumbling to himself, he looked over a large picture of one of the Nazi camps, to his horror, he saw himself in one of the backgrounds, though a little younger in appearance. At first he almost slammed the book shut, for it was lying, but he still had to glance back at it to see if it were true. There he was, leaning against one of the buildings, his arms crossed, his hair style a lot much like it is now, looking into the camera from a distance. He was slightly faded out, but there was a gut feeling it was him. This would explain some of the odd dreams he’s been having lately.
His blue eyes glanced left and right before ripping the page out, closing the book nonchalantly. Putting the hard bound book back in its rightful place, he went to leave. As he did, the young adult librarian lowered her glasses. “Now Logan, please remember next time to not light your drug while in the library."

Harmony had been hard at work lately. With teaching the biology class and fighting for the Kouken it's been hard for her. But winter break was soon, a vacation from her teaching, a time to rest. In preparation for this however, was a nice big midterm she had to get ready for the kids.
Unable to take it all Harmony wanted to escape from reality for a bit, to travel into a new world...Perhaps a Tolkien...It was unusual for Harmony to be in the library for books. Normally she came with her laptop to do work. She felt out of place there without it. Despite the chilly weather outside she felt it was warm enough in the building to wear a white tank top and a pair of jeans. The shirt showed off her collection of tattoos on her arms and upper back, leaving one to wonder if she had anymore...and where...On her right arm was an ivy vine spiraling up her forearm, on the left was a willow tree branch wrapped around the upper part of the arm. Through the white fabric of her shirt the outline of a life tree could be seen with Celtic knots around it. And hiding under her hair was a lotus blossom on the back of her neck.
She couldn't help smirking at Logan's scolding as she passed him on her way in. She looked over Logan. He seemed to be rattled about something, though she really couldn't tell what. She glanced to the librarian and gave a smile. "Now now. Tobacco is a plant." She said in Logan's defense.

Logan glanced at the woman who was in his defense, wondering who she was exactly. Had he seen her before and just really never took the time to notice her? That’s usually how it worked.. Random students walking up to he, acting like they were good buds for years, when truly, he doesn’t have a d**n clue who they are, or exactly where they came from. For this time, it wasn’t quite the same story. His eyes, slightly puzzled, looked her over, scary part was. He kind of liked what he saw.
Great.. Looking at girls, which were probably his daughter’s age? He was being a dirty old man. Logan looked around him before looking at her once again. “Thanks..” Was about all he could say. With that, he turned and walked out of the library, the picture gracefully falling from his pocket and onto the floor.

Harmony smirked a bit as she moved past him to go into the library. But as she did she noticed movement out of the corner of her eye. She glanced back to see what it was, but it looked like she was checking out Logan. She knew who he was. Amiko's father. She'd become friends with Amiko, good friends since they both became active members of the kouken...Her eyes moved down before noticing the piece of paper. Gracefully she bent down to pick it up before her eyes went to Logan again. He was the only one aside from her close to the library door, it must be his.
"Hey Logan." She spoke, making sure not to yell while in the Library. "You dropped this." She said as she half held up the piece of paper, still folded, by her head.

The mutant stopped in his tracks, hearing that he had dropped something, immediately his fingers crawled into his pocket. Just as he thought, the picture was missing. Turning around, and to his relief, she had the paper, which was folded. That was a close one. Logan didn’t really want anybody figuring this horrible fact out, he wished to speak with Xavier when he got the chance.
His leather boots moved before him and he stopped in front of her, taking the picture from her finger tips. Being his nature, he didn’t bother to thank her. Thanking someone usually came once a month, which so happened to only be moments ago. As he saw her up close, he remembered this girl as a friend to his daughter. “Amiko taken care of herself up with them Elemental bubs?”

She laughed and nodded. "Yeah every time I get up there for training she seems to be getting better and better." She said with a smile. "She's even training a young mist user I believe." She really should go up to the base more often.
Her smile turned into a smirk as she shoved her hands into her pockets. "I've met and talked with you countless times but I'll bet you still don't remember me." Of course in his defense it had been in passing, and she always had so much to do it's not like she even got out of her room or classroom much. "I'm Harmony....The biology and power responsibility teacher..."

Logan nodded his head some as he listened to some details on his daughter. By the sounds of it, she was doing well with her life. Sometimes Logan missed her, not getting to see her everyday, but he understood she was an adult now. She had to live her own life the way she wished it.
“Teacher huh?” Logan grinned, “Coulda’ had me fooled.. You look a lil’ young to be teachin’ students, but who am I judge someone on their age appearance.”
Logan took his cigar and plopped it in his mouth. The Librarian crossed her arms and annoyed.”…Logan…”
The man rolled his, shaking his head. Sometimes he wanted to give that woman the finger. “I don’t reckon I could ever get one of those..” He said, gesturing to her tattoos.

Harmony laughed as she tucked her long blond hair behind her ears, tired of it being in her face. "Yeah I know I'm young. I worked hard to get where I am...Almost fresh out of college." She said with a hint of pride int he fact that she's a new teacher.
She then turned to the librarian. "Geese Hope, cut him a break, he's not lighting the d**n thing...He's not even in your library." She was standing in the doorway when she called to him, so logically, if he was in front of her he'd be just out of the library door. She smirked to the girl, not sure why she was cracking down on Logan so hard.
Her eyes went back to Logan then down to her tattoos at the mention of them."Yeah...I love them...Makes me feel even more of a part of nature." Once again a sense of pride, confidence could be heard in her voice over the body art.

The Librarian just sighed and left the two be. It was obvious her and Logan didn’t get along too well. It all was mainly his fault because he lacked paying attention to the rules. Hope also sees Logan as a bad impression on students, but like always, Logan honestly could give a rat’s ass about how she felt. As long as Xavier didn’t have a problem with it, there was nothing to worry about.
“I see ya’ take pride in em’. Well, what I take pride is in what I do best, and what I do best just isn’t too pretty..” He announced, looking to his bare knuckles. “You know, somethin' ..a librarian wouldn’t approve of..”

She smirked. "Yeah, I know what you can do." She said with a slight laugh before glancing back to Hope one last time. "Don't listen to Hope...She thinks all men are evil..." Then there was a long pause, an awkward silence. She'd known Logan for quite some time, going on 8 months or so now. But still she'd never talked to him all that much. Up until now she just saw him as Amiko's father...The rough animal...She'd always had been attracted to the wild ones...Her ex was a tattoo artist, not too much unlike Logan in personality. That was probably the reason she didn't spend too much time around him..She saw alot of him in Logan.

His icy blue eyes gazed over at the empty doorway one last time before he looked at her, right before the long pause. The silence drove him slightly off and he started to get a little antisocial. Plus it struck him that this girl or woman so to say, was Amiko’s friend and all. “I should get goin’. Got things to do. Catch ya around, kiddo.”
Logan turned, proceeding up the hall, the picture covered tightly with his fist.

Harmony nodded to the comment. Then she realized what he called her. "Hey!" She called, half playfully half insulted. "I'm 23...Hardly a child." She was obviously teasing with him. She crossed her arms and her smirk grew. "I have an appointment in town tomorrow to get a new one if you want to tag along."

Logan continued to walk, but glanced over his shoulder to give her an answer. “I don’ think I’m doin’ anything, so stop by my room when your about to leave. If I’m not there, I’ll be in the gym..er somethin’ like that..”

She laughed again, shaking her head. As she did her long blond hair fell from behind her ear, into her face once more. "I'll see you then." She said with a smirk before turning around, heading into the library in search of that book. She felt rather proud of herself. She knew how hard it was to get on Logan's good side and she succeeded. It probably had something to do with her being friends with Amiko, but she was ok with that. But as she turned to enter the library her phone went off. The call id said "kouken'". She rolled her eyes and picked up the phone. It was Haruki. She was needed for training.
