Makin' My Space

Sarri was busy hanging tapestries and organizing her DVD collection. Her laptop was beeping about a new message, probably her brother, he had finished his tour and was home for good and missing her, she thought about visiting 'home' sometime soon. She thought about going to talk to Amiko to clear the air was a good idea, deciding that next time they spoke she'd make an effort to talk to her.

Amiko had just come upstairs from her time in the work out area...more specifically the pool. She was planning on visiting the mansion again soon now that her father was around again. As she walked down the hall for the living areas she spotted Sarri's room. The team's words echoed through her mind. She had to learn to trust this girl. They were fighting as a team now...

Her thumb moved over the band to her engagement ring, reminding herself that Warren loved her...This girl was no threat anymore. She hesitated just a moment as she ruffled her long black hair with the towel over her shoulders before knocking lightly on the girl's door.

Sarri jumped at the noise, "One moment" she scrambled to clean up the area and walked toward the door, took a breath and opened it "Hi, Amiko," the suprise showed in her voice and on her face, "well at least I dont have to go looking for you, Ive been wanting to talk" She took a step back to clear the doorway "Come in."

Amiko looked up to the girl as she opened the door. She was still attempting to dry her hair from her swim, her swimsuit covered by a long green sleeveless shirt. She forced a fake polite smile to her face. "Hello Sarri...I was just passing by...Found no real reason against stopping by, we are members of the same team now afterall." As she spoke she folded up the towel. The light caught her engagement ring as she moved her hands to fold. It was of course unintentional but it did draw attention to it.

Sarri's eyes slipped to the sparkle then away without too much emotion showing. "Yes, How have you been? It has been a while hmm... a year?" She knew it had been more than that but smiled and gestured to a soft chair in the room for her guest to sit in.

"Over that." She answered, still standing. She was visibly wet and knew it. She didn't want to ruin Sarri's furniture by plopping her wet self in a chair. "I've been well..." She smiled as she glanced down to the ring on her finger. "Warren and I are getting married..." She didn't mean to brag, it was just a happy news that she was still very excited about...

"Ah, congratulations... I'm glad you guys resolved your issues, after Warren left, I kind of disapeared too, I left the mansion, and pretty much found my own way, ya know. I'm glad you're happy" Which she could tell by the way she had to mention the ring ect. often, or make the ring shine brighly. "You can sit down, dont worry about being wet, I figured out a trick with my flame that will dry out the chair, if it's necicary."

((Angel and I skipped ahead a bit in our storyline so erm...lets pretend she said they were married not getting married XD )

'You were our issues.' She thought to herself as she listened to the girl speak. "I know...I stayed at the mansion too remember?" She said, still standing. She was just as stubborn as her father...And mother. "I remember last we saw each other you were afraid of your powers...Congratulations on getting a hold of them." She was trying so hard to find something nice to say...But considering her blood line, and the fact that she didn't like this girl, it was hard for her not to lash out.
