A hero Indeed {Kale}

Kelsey drove through the gates of the Yard. She had been checking on Kale every minute of the drive home trying hard not to worry about him too much. But it was hard not to. Finally having him back with her then seeing him like this toke its toll on Kelsey. After everything she had been through today... Now Kale returned to her just made her that much weaker.

Her eyes burned from crying and still she was shaking. She couldn't stop shaking. Her hair was tangled and she looked a mess... she was a mess. If only she had her dad with her now. What would her father tell her now?

She turned her beetle down the drive and across the lawn away from the Mannor and closer to the edge of the Mannor then parked it underneath a huge Oak tree. She killed the ignition but left the stereo on. Then closed her eyes for a moment. 'Boys are trouble, Kelsey dear, They can steal your heart away and you'll never get it back... Especially the first one' Thats what dad would say. She rested her head against the head rest as a soft song started to calm her down.

It was her and Kale's song It was the song that was meant for Kale. The way he had made her feel from the very start. She smiled softly. Then started to hum the intro along with the singer replying the memories she had of Kale in her mind...

He could feel the leather apolstry of the car on the side of his face. He had been sweating and his skin felt like it was glued to the leather. His eyes were closed as he tried to take deep even breaths, and he could feel a headache forming behind his eyelids. Served him right for trying to save someone. He felt extremly weak and sick, as he tried to move his head. Infront of him he could hear the faint sounds of a certain song coming through the radio, and he smiled. Kelsey... This was there song. Shifting slightly, kale made a move to sit up with ending in him just lying back down again. His hand found the edge of the driver's seat as he looked for her. "kelsey?..... i" He looked at her, waiting for her stream of worries to come.

Kelsey's eyes snapped open when she heard his voice from the rear seat. She twist around in and instant her eyes dropping to Kale then to his hand on the driver seat. She grabbed it in her own then used her power to make her become a mist and crouch behind the drivers seat in the cramped space. She instantly let her lips touch his temple then looked deep into his eyes. "Shhh. Hush... Your okay." She comforted him then brushed the back of her other hand across his cheek.

She let out a sharp blow of air and shoke her head. "That was really dumb Mr. Jackson." She scolded him in her soft voice. " I just got you back and you risked your life to save that little git." She sighed then again kissed his forehead. Her hand came to rest on it. "Take it... Only a small piece... Take my energy... Kiss me and take it... Don't say no... You'll need it for Cooper. JUst listen."

Kale looked up at kelsey's face as she became her mist, and he smiled when she grabbed his hand. It felt solid and perfect in his. his heart skipped a beat when her hand touched his face, and he almost fell asleep again, but she talked about taking her energy kale's eyes snapped open and he shook his head harder than he should off. "No! I won't take it from you. It's too dangerous." It was. around her, he lost control to easily and he needed to have concentration to hold his barriers and keep focused. He wouldn't risk her, like he had Trevor. He had been an accident and kale had only been a child then. But that didn't matter. Kale's eyebrow's furrowed when she mentioned a name. "Cooper?" That sounded oddly farmiliar, but Kale just brushed it off. He tried to sit up and this time sucsseded as he made room for Kelsey to sit beside him. "Who is he?"

Kelsey sighed at his denail of using his powers on her then he finally got up and made spacefor her beside him. She struggled from her possition and toke a seat beside him then pulled him back into a laying possition on her lap. Her fingers slipped through his hair as she smiled down at him. Then came the dreaded question. Kelsey looked away from him at the mansion in the front view. "Cooper is...." She frowned. A father, a friend, A leader, A teacher... the one that risked her life just an hour ago. "Going to get trouble when I step into that boardroom." She said softly then dropped her gaze to Kale again. "You feeling up to it or do you need a few more minutes rest?" She asked gently smiling down apon him.

Kale just looked at her as she sat beside him, and he couldn’t find the strength to resist as she pulled him down onto her lap. It was almost to good to be true, when she started stroking his hair, and no matter how hard he wanted to sleep, he forced himself to stay awake. He chuckled weakly as she told him what would happen to Cooper. Then he closed his eyes and thought for a few seconds. How could he protect her in this state? Usually he had a very good physical and mental barrier when he was at full strength, or after he had just fed. He sighed. How would he protect her like this? The answer was he couldn’t. He felt a tear roll down his cheek for what he was about to do. “Kelsey?…… You going to fell a slight burning, and then a pricking like thousands of pins and needles. Are you alright with this?” He waited for her reply before he kissed her, and let his barriers fall down, her energy draining into his body. When he finally slammed his barriers up again, it had only been a minute, but he felt like he had just be sleeping for the last months. He kissed her still and then finally broke the contact. “How do you feel?”

Kelsey smiled. It was so good to hear him laugh. It was so good to have him back. She then watched his face change into one of turmoil and she frowned. Then he spoke and her heart started to race. She knew he had given in to her request but now she felt slightly reluctant to proceed with it. She glanced away as he sat up then turned to him and smiled softly. He wouldn't hurt her. He had protected her now it was her turn to give him the only thing she could think of at the moment. She nodded. "I asked you..." She then parted her lips as he leaned in to kiss her and her eyes slanted slightly. Then they snapped open as the burn and the needle caused her pain.

Her eyes became white orbs and her breathing seemed to become ragged if only for a minute. He broke the kiss and the pain became dull. She had a sharp intake of breath. She felt tired now but thats was okay because Kale was better...Her white eyes slowly became emerald again and looked into Kales for a moment then instantly lay her head against his shoulder. "I'm... I'm fine..." She said in a hush...

"We have to go inside... " Her mind was caught in a misty haze but it also swam in a sea of love. She was content. She was happy to Have Kale finally returned to her.

Kale just smiled down at his love. He would never dream of harming her, but without harming her, he couldn't protect her from harm. He sighed. This would never end would it. He sat for a second feeling Kelsey's head on his shoulder and then he sighed again. He kissed her forehead, and then got out of the car. "It'll pass in a few minutes. I didn't take that much." So he turned and grabbed Kelsey and held her in his arms, feeling invincible, as his heart swelled with love for this girl. he leaned in and kissed her again and then procedded towards the mansion. "Come hell or high water, I'll love you forever. Tell me what I have to do."

Kelsey closed her eyes gently as he felt the kiss on her forehead. She felt so safe... so warm... so confident when ever she was near Kale. And it had always been like that. Then Kale moved out of the car and she knew the time had come for the emotional battle with Cooper. Atleast now that Kale was willing to join their side... atleast now she would be permitted to be with him. She followed him out of then car then suddenly got pulled into a kiss. The world seemed to spin under her feet and she giggled when he broke the kiss then shoke her head and bit her bottom lip.

"As longas your okay I'm okay." She said then followed him across the yard her arm slipping round his waist incase the earth slipped away under her feet. "Just be your charming self and let me handle the rest." She tilted her head to him a soft smile on her face...

(Continue in the Elite meeting> been waiting for this for ages)
